Overview of our Facility, Pricing, Payment, and General Policies
We want you and every guest to have a wonderful experience at our venue. We understand that your event will have a lasting memory and we pledge to do everything possible to help you make your dream come true. Thank you for considering our venue and sharing your special day with us.
Our farm has 32 acres of pastures, a stocked pond, several buildings and our lodge/venue. The lodge is 206 ft in length and 84 ft wide. Built of rustic Tennessee red oak, square cut and assembled with steel gusset plates. This type construction has not been seen in over a century. The venue portion of the lodge has a "Crackel Barrel" porch and an indoor ceiling height of over 35 ft. Special color lighting modified to your liking is available for your event. A 32 ft. distance between vertical beams provides a wide viewing area for guest to enjoy your ceremony.
We can provide seating for over 250 guests with tables and chairs on site. Food service dinnerware is also available to save you from having to rent multiple items and have them delivered for your event.
The lodge has a 24 ft. fully stocked wet bar complimented by ADA compliant bathrooms for men and women. We are working to establish a number of preferred vendors for our venue that can provide you services at special rates and save you time searching for reliable people. Just using our tables and chairs can save you hundreds of dollars over having them delivered and picked up by a seating vendor. We also offer a connection to our insurance carrier for a simple event insurance policy for your event that can save you from consequences if anything unforeseen happens.
We have a huge backup generator in case of a power outage. At this time, we are preparing to provide an "online streaming" service where your friends and family that can not attend, may view your wedding live and purchase a video of the service.
Booking our venue starts with a phone call and appointment to visit our facility at your convenience. 615-289-4200. We are looking to book only two events per month from March 1 thru October 30. And only one booking per month November thru February. We may do more based on demand, but not at regular pricing.
Our preferred vendors should be able to accommodate your needs, but you may use your vendors if you like. Having vendors that are not familiar with the venue and its policies take time to be approved so weigh your choices carefully. Our staff will try to guide you to the best value in each area, but the final decision is yours.
Our venue is generally booked two days for a wedding which includes the rehearsal and venue decoration on a Friday evening from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm for the wedding party only and on Saturday from 1:00 pm until 10:00 pm for the wedding and guests. That's 6 hours on Friday and 9 hours on Saturday. Additional hours may be available, but our staff must be compensated accordingly as their hours and life commitments are based on the hours listed. We have a strict NON-SMOKING policy in our venue. There are marked smoking areas outside the venue. Cameras will be filming all activity in the lodge/venue so be aware that if you book the venue, you are responsible for enforcing the rules.
Parking for 50 vehicles is available on asphalt or gravel covered areas and overflow parking is in a pasture behind the venue. Remember, it's a farm. Bring alternate shoes if parking in the pasture in inclement weather. We also have a 40 ft. by 72 ft. clear span pole barn with 2,880 sq. ft. of space within 50 feet of the lodge/venue in case you require additional covered space. Our pole barn is available for $2,500 for 6 hours, only on days when renting the venue. The pole barn is not available alone at this time due to conflicts with a wedding. Tables and chairs for the pole barn would be your responsibility and the lodge tables and chairs may not be moved to the pole barn. Music may be played in the venue until 10:00 pm but only with the doors closed to avoid disturbing our animals and neighbors. No music allowed in the pole barn after 6 pm.
To share with you our basic pricing for an event please use this fee schedule only as a guide. We can customize our rental many ways, but generally the following is a good reference.
Non weekend rates may be available at significantly reduced rates depending on staff availability, how your date selection falls on our booking schedule and a host of other factors. We will do our best to make a date available.

Half of the rental fee and half of any additional services you book are due upon booking the venue. The second half of the rental fee and any other charges will be due 30 days before the event. We accept cash, check, direct bank transfer or bank wire, but we do not accept credit cards for rental payment. No post dated checks as they will be deposited immediately. Your date will only be reserved after payment has cleared our bank. Once a one half payment deposit and a date is secured we turn down any other requests for that date therefor a 50% refund can only be made if a written cancellation request is made at least 90 days before event date. Upon payment of second half of payment 30 days before event date, there is no refund available. Our rentals are not transferable.
Our many preferred vendors will work with you to provide their services to you and their payment will be between you and the vendor. Obviously if you select your own vendors, they will be required to submit proof of insurance and references to the venue at least 90 days prior to the event for approval. Typically we require 3 references for approval. If we have had a previous positive experience with your vendor, their approval will be simple, If we have no experience with your vendor, it will take some time to get references and insurance certificates. And, if they are not approved, you must allow yourself sufficient time to book another vendor and get approval. Reputable and experienced vendors are highly recommended. Make sure you know they are dependable and professional. Verify their references and availability before submitting them to us.
If you choose to use our chairs and tables for over 100 guests, the cost is $10.00 per table and $5.00 per chair. For a table setting of 10 people the cost would be $60.00. This rental charge includes use of the table and chairs for both Friday and Saturday night. So, to seat 100 additional people for both Friday and Saturday the cost would be $600. That includes 10 tables at $10.00 each and 100 chairs at $5.00 ea. And there's no delivery charge. However, you must set up the tables and chairs to your liking and return them in a clean condition to their original location after use. They are stored just off the main floor within the venue. For the quality of our tables and chairs, this rate is about 50% of renting them elsewhere and having them delivered. This is also the only additional service that we charge you to NOT use our service as tables and chairs being delivered cause wear and tear to our parking/delivery area and our venue gets bruised and scratched.
A 25% deposit is required to cover any damage to the venue or damage to the property. A short list of rules will be supplied and must be strictly adhered to.
If you plan on being a responsible renter of our venue, we should have no issues. If someone in your party gets drunk and starts breaking things, you will have a problem. Enter this relationship with your eyes open and remember, you are responsible for the behavior of each and every guest you invite. If you have some rowdy friends that may drink too much, ignore rules and destroy their surroundings, they should not be invited.
